Word broke this morning that Suns owner Robert Saver Sarver has grown tired of waiting for Amar’e Stoudemire to respond to his latest contract offer. Suns fans, meet your new starting power forward, Hakim Warrick (pictured). Yes, the 6 foot 9 power forward who was so useless in-demand that the Suns will be his fourth team over his five year career. But don’t worry, even though he can’t score like Amar’e (10.1 points per game vs. 23.1), he’s considered a better defender who will make up for Amar’e lack of rebounding (4.3 rebounds per game vs. 8.9 for Amar’e). Wait, WTF? Looks like it’s going to cloudy in Suns land for a while now.
