A splash of monin violet syrup is the ingredient to which it owes both its name and color. Make one at home with the recipe below or learn from the pros at jade bar at their Mixology 101 seminars. Just don’t turn into a violet, Violet.
Ingredients
2 oz. Beefeater London Dry Gin
1/2 oz. Monin Violet Syrup
1/2 oz. Vanilla Syrup
3/4 oz. Lemon Juice
1 oz. Soda
Prep
Shake well for 6 seconds in martini shaker, add soda. Strain over fresh ice and garnish with orchid or purple flower of choice. Enjoy!
