AZ’s Minuteman Founder Wanted By Bounty Hunters

Sorry for all the political posts today, but we couldn’t resist passing on this Wanted poster for local patriot/accused wife abuser, Chris Simcox. Although he’s not wanted by law enforcement, Simcox is being sought by bounty hunters hoping to serve him with an Order of Protection demanding that he not contact his estranged wife or children, as well as surrender all firearms to the Scottsdale PD.

Simcox, who founded the border-watch group, Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, also launched a campaign to unseat Senator McCain in the upcoming Republican primary, but dropped out when radio gas-bag provocateur, JD Hayworth stepped into the race. In fact, Simcox was a paid consultant to the Hayworth campaign right up until, we’re guessing, the AZ Republic called to get a comment about this latest controversy and got this response.

“No comment on this. He no longer is with the campaign. Thanks for asking,” says Mark Sanders, Hayworth’s campaign spokesman.

Meanwhile, the Republic also released this press release from Dog the bounty hunters:

“The OOP (Order of Protection) demands that Chris Simcox shall not contact Plantiff Alena Simcox or their children except through attorneys or the court, must stay away from their home and must surrender all firearms to the Scottsdale Police Department. Chris Simcox may still be in possession of a firearm, and should be considered Armed & Dangerous. Mr. Simcox is aware of the OOP and is currently evading any form of proper service, and is now considered in-hiding.”
