In the Mood, a 1940s fashion gallery now on display at the Phoenix Art Museum, harks back to classic Americana glamour and sophistication with more than 35 accessorized outfits. Vintage fashion enthusiasts will surely drool over the broad-shouldered, military inspired suits and drapery-like silk dresses that recall the era’s need for both utility and kitsch. The exhibit runs until August 15.
