Clooney Bomb Scare

No, this isn’t a comment on George Clooney’s most recent movie. Turns out fishermen discovered an unexploded WWII-era bomb in the water just outside of handsome George’s posh Lake Como villa.

Bomb squad experts raced to the scene to remove the 500lb explosive discovered 15 yards underwater just in front of the actor’s 30 million euro, 30-bed mansion, Villa Oleandra.

No word on if this will affect the bidding war for the famed villa, which Clooney put on the market in February, sparking a bidding war between David and Victoria Beckham and a Russian vodka billionaire. Clooney bought the opulent villa in 2001 for a mere 7 million euros.
