Flagstaff Newspaper Editor Missing

April 22, 2010 | 1:08 PM | News | By Staff

Normally we’d make some smart aleck remark about the demise of print newspapers, but this seems serious. Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Timothy Lawrence Hendricks, who was last seen leaving his home Monday morning in east Flagstaff and headed for work.

Assistant city editor at the Arizona Daily Sun in Flagstaff, the 44-year-old, 6-foot-1 Hendricks has a full beard and long, straight brown hair and wears glasses. And although his beat covers crime and courts, police spokesman Lt. Ken Koch says there’s no indication of foul play. Even weirder, the story is completely buried on the AZ Daily Sun’s web site, and seems to be simply cut and pasted from the AP report.
