Locavores Descend Upon J&G Steakhouse

The 32nd annual Scottsdale Culinary Festival is full swing after last night’s Friends of James Beard kickoff event. Tonight, however, might mark the coolest event in this entire six-day eating extravaganza. Hosted inside the posh J&G Steakhouse atop The Phoenician, the Chef Tribute Dinner: Harvesting Arizona is a farm-to-table, wine-paired dinner featuring ingredients sourced almost entirely from Arizona producers. Famed chef, Chris Bianco, will be there speaking about his passion for food that is intrinsically natural, organic and locally grown. As will an all-star lineup of top local chefs, farmers, ranchers and food purveyors who support sustainable eating. This one is not to be missed!
