Purple Craze

If you like smooth and simple you will love this cocktail.
Check out the Lavender Martini recipe from Frank & Albert’s restaurant at The Biltmore Resort.  It might just cure all, just like a lavender cocktail should.

Ingredients
1.5 oz Rain lavender lemon-aid
vodka
.5 oz lavender simple syrup*
Candied violet petal
Preparation
Fill a martini shaker with ice and add the vodka and simple syrup. Shake then strain into a glass that has the candied violet petal at the bottom.
*Lavender
Simple Syrup
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
2 sprigs dried lavender
Preparation
In a sauce pot, add the ingredients together and bring to a boil, then remove from heat. Remove lavender and let cool.
